The Old Tyme Valentine is a sequence of vintage postcards and cards circa late 1800’s early 1900’s on a vintage rose pattern wallpaper, starting with a white dove sitting on a woman’s hand as it hold a letter with a little heart, with a larger heart behind the dove and a basket of flowers in the background as the caption reads “I ask books in friendships name will you be my Valentine?”. With a card with a red heart sitting on roses and pierced by an arrow with two doves above and the caption reads “to my Valentine”. Next, a card with 3 cupids in little robes and wings, 2 on each sides of the heart and one lying at the top of a heart shaped flower arrangement with little hearts all around and a large heart in the middle with words reading “to my Valentine”. Next is a card circa late 1800’s with a couple outside on each side of a fence with a heart and kissing as the lady holds a flower bouquet and two doves are on the fence. The next card also late 1800’s shows a couple sitting in a hammock with cushions kissing. To the next photo from mid 1920’s of a couple kissing inside a heart with a border of lace around the heart and the caption reads “Valentine Greetings. The world is ours when you are mine”. Next, a lovely branch with two roses to another card with roses and a hummingbird. To the final late 1800’s card with gorgeous roses and flowers with the caption reading “from me to you, my love, happy Saint Valentine’s day”.
