If you have any questions you can always reach us at [email protected].

Doozycards respects your privacy and will protect your private information. We guarantee to never sell or otherwise distribute your email address or personal information to any thrid parties or other entities. We don't like it when it is done to us, so we will not do it to you.

Credit card processing:

We use the highest security encryption software available from PayFlo, a subsidiary of PayPal, to process your credit transactions. This same software is used by many major US banks online. Even your password is shielded from our own eyes for your privacy and protection.

Spam & spyware:

We would never be associated with any spyware or spam programs. EVER! We despise this type of invasion of your computer. We think that spyware is a serious violation of personal privacy. We are very protective of all personal information you have on file with Doozy Cards. We will not sell or loan your or your recipient’s personal information to anyone. EVER!.

Frequently, when people visit our site, they also visit other purely “free” card sites. Unfortunately, many of these “free” card sites may attach spyware to the visitor’s computer. This is how many of these "free" card sites cover their cost and realize a profit without charging a fee. Then the site visitor gets bombarded with spyware attacks on their personal computer. In addition, if the site visitor sends a “free” e-card, these “free” sites may also sell the visitor’s and recipient’s email address to a third party spam operation. These types of activities should be illegal. In our opinion, this type of business activity is certainly unethical and extremely offensive behavior. We will never consider it.

We are a subscription based site. We give some cards away free in hope that you will be impressed with our product and eventually subscribe. Our cost and eventually our profits are covered 100% by the subscriptions. At this time, we do not even have ads on our site. We have confidence in this business model. We know you will have trust in us as well.

When you sign up for a 10 Day Free Trial our credit card processing company, PayFlo (a subsidiray of PayPal), submits an authorization to verify your card in order to prevent fraud. It has been normally in the amount of $18, which is different from our subscription price of $29.99. The authorization is similar in appearance to a charge on your statement. It is not a charge and those funds are relased back into your account in approximately 24 hours. No funds are transferred to Doozy Cards until your 10-day Free Trial period has expired and you have become a Doozy Premier member.

If you used a debit card to set up your 10 Day Trial, please be aware that most banks put a freeze on the $29.99 that would be charged at the end of the 10 days. These funds are not transferred to Doozy until the 10-day trial period has expired.

If you have cancelled your trial and the item has not been cleared after 3 business days, please contact us at [email protected] .

1. To cancel a Ten Day Free Trial membership during the 10 day trial period, first log in to your membership.

2. Click on the “My Profile” menu item at the top right of the website in the orange menu bar.

3. In the drop down menu, select "My Account".

4. Then click on the “My Subscription” tab on the page.

5. On the page that appears you will see a gray button to cancel your Free Trial. When clicked, you will see the following message:

6. If you still wish to cancel, click the red button saying, "Yes, please cancel". To continue into a Premier Membership for one full year (for one annual charge of $29.99), click the green button saying, "I'm good, I'll keep my Doozy".

7. IF YOU SIGNED UP USING PAYPAL you will be asked to log into your PayPal account. You must do this and then cancel the PayPal subscription to Doozycards in order to avoid being charged. We cannot perform this function for you because PayPal allows only you to cancel your subscription in your PayPal account.

8. An email confirmation of your cancellation will be sent to the email address on your Doozy membership. Your Free Trial is now cancelled and there will be no charge.

Please check back with us from time to time to see the new aniations and special offers!

To cancel a free account, just email us at [email protected] and request that your free account be canceled.

WARNING: If you cancel your Doozycards.com FREE Reminders account, your Birthday and Holiday Reminders, your Doozy address book, card history and any cards you may have set up for future delivery will be PERMANENTLY ERASED.

(legal notice: this is a joke, not an actual recommendation)

The traditional method for elephant removal involves live mice. However, this tends to leave the user with a live mouse problem in the aftermath, as well as broken chandeliers.

We recommend simply removing Strawberries from the house or office until such time as the elephants depart in search of fresh strawberries. This may take up to 3 weeks time, but has proven efficacious.

1) To properly view a Doozycards ecard which you have received:

Click on the linked image of an envelope and card in your email from Doozycards.com. If that link gives you any trouble, there should also be the URL or internet address of that card's page which you can copy and then paste into your browser to directly to play the card.

If this does not work, you can take the card's ID code from the email. It is listed so that you can copy it. Then go to the Doozy website (www.doozycards.com) and click on "Card Pickup" at the top right of the Home Page (above the orange menu bar across the top of the page). Clicking on "Card Pickup" will bring you to a page where you can paste the card's ID code into a box and then click "Get My Card" to see it play.

2) Your computer's cache may need to be cleaned

It is always a good idea to clean your cache (temporary Internet files on your computer) as sometimes a full cache can prevent you from logging on to the site or entering your recipient’s email addresses.

3) You may need to use a different browser

If you have performed one or more of these steps correctly and the card still will not play, you may need to use a different browser, one that will access the correct animation video type to play the animation correctly. Here are links to downlload some of the most popular browsers and a popular altrnative one:

Clearing the cache

How to Clear Your Browser Cache:

Why you may need to clear your cache: If your browser doesn't load the newest and most updated version of a website you may begin to have trouble. It could even prevent you from being able to view links or fill out forms. Once you delete the stored cache data your browser will retrieve the newest and most up-to-date version of the site. You can check on the progress of any card you have sent by looking at your Card History.

Here is a tutorial on using your Card History: https://youtu.be/9JiWkTruRF4

or you can follow these directions:

To see your Card History, log into your membership on the Doozycards website.

Then click on “My Profile” in the top orange menu bar.

Select the item, “Card History” in the drop down menu.

You will see a page with every card you have sent and their status.

The status of each card is on the right side of its thumbnail picture. Also, unless you checked “no” (the default setting is “yes”) on the two statements below when you sent your card, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you when the recipient has picked up your Doozy card.

Notify Send

Notify me by email when the card is sent

Notify Read

Notify me by email when the card is read

The problem in most cases of non-delivery may be found in the recipient’s Internet Service Provider. If you have received a “Sent” confirmation, and you have not received a “Read” confirmation, this usually means that there is a failure with delivery by the recipient’s ESP, employer organization, or recipient’s e-mail inbox causing a failure preventing your recipient from experiencing your Doozy Cardtoon. The first place to look is in your Card History.

Here are some reasons your Doozy Cardtoon may not have been read:

Was the card sent to the recipient’s correct e-mail address?

If the email address is bounced by the recipient’s Email Service Provider, you should see a bounce notice in your card history next to the card you sent. Emails may be bounced if even a period or one letter is incorrect in the address.

To check the accuracy of the recipient's email address you entered, look for the card in your Card History. To the right of the card's information is the status. Does it indicate the card was "Undeliverable" or "Bad address"?

If so, click "Resend" to edit the card's information, specifically the recipient's email address. When ready, click "Send" as you did before to send the corrected card.

Is the Recipient’s Mailbox Full or Inactive?

If recipient’s e-mail box is inactive, closed, or over its size quota, their Internet Service Provider will not deliver your Doozy Cardtoon to your recipient’s inbox. You might inquire of your recipient if this is the case.

Is the recipient’s spam blocker or Internet Service Provider blocking Doozycards?

If your recipient or their service provider has spam or other blocking software, it may be blocking emails from doozycards.com. Some unfamiliar businesses may seem suspicious to some providers. If so, your recipient may need to change their Spam Blocker or notify their Internet Service Provider to accept e-mails from Doozycards.

Is the recipient’s workplace network blocking Doozy e-mail notifications?

If your recipient is currently on a corporate, government or other organizational network, the network’s firewall or other screening software might be blocking e-mails from Doozycards.com. Your recipient will need to contact their IT personnel to have them adjust the screening or blocking process to allow e-mails from Doozycards.com. If they want to send us the organization’s IT contact names, we will send the IT personal a letter from Doozy Cards that addresses our legitimacy, privacy statements and non-spamming policies.

DOOZY TIP!
If your recipient’s card was not delivered because of spam or other blocking software, you may be able to use your own e-mail provider to send the cardtoon.

When you sent the card from Doozy you were also sent a confirmation e-mail from Doozy (unless you clicked on the option not to receive the confirmation). In this confirmation email is a link to the cardtoon you sent.

Using your email’s forwarding process, forward your confirmation e-mail to your recipient’s e-mail address.

If your recipient can receive e-mails from you they will be able to open the forwarded confirmation e-mail you sent and click on the link to view your Doozy cardtoon.

You could also cut and paste the link from the confirmation email or from the card itself accessed via your Card Hisotry, into a new e-mail and send that instead of forwarding the confirmation e-mail.

For your account’s security, cards already sent cannot be edited. To edit or change a card or the address to which you want it sent, there is a slim window of time during which you may eidt the card or, if you wish to re-prepare the card entirely, to delete the card and prevent your recipient from receiving our ecard notification email before it goes out from the Doozy servers.

We send out the ecard notifications to card recipients in batches every 5 minutes.* During this time, as soon as you realize you need to change or stop the card, you can go to your Card History to try to edit or to stop / delete the card. If the card can be altered or deleted, it's status in your Card History will read: "Pending" and the word "Edit" will appear below that on the right side of the card's entry in the Status column.

To edit the card (quickly!), click on the blue linked word, "Edit". You will go to the Card Preparation page. Alter the details you wish. Then click the red "Send" button once again.

If the notification email has already been sent out, the card's status will read, "Sent" or "Picked Up" or another statement indicating what occured after the card was sent from the Doozy servers. Once the email has gone out, it cannot be cancelled or "pulled back". However, if you Delete the card from your card history, your recipient will be unable to see the card at all even though they will still receive the notification email. You may then go find the card on its category pages as you first did, click on it, and go through the process of preparing the card once more.

If you have received a Doozycards.com animated ecard via an email:

If clicking on the image does not work, or you do not see the image of the envelope and card, the URL or internet address of that card's page is in the email. You can copy and then paste the URL into your browser to play the card.

If this also does not work, you can copy the card's ID code from the email. Go to the Doozy website (www.doozycards.com) and click on "Card Pickup" at the top right of the Home Page. You will go to a page where you can paste the card's ID code into a box labelled "Enter your card id". Then click "Get My Card" to see the card.
