Many of our customers have sent the rollicking White House Birthday card, which has been one of our most successful birthday cards ever. In it we poke good natured fun at the higher up players in the Bush White House. Our philosophy has been to poke fun at anyone in the public limelight by the nature of their serious position. Everyone is human and humans make funny greetings. Our goal has never been to make a political statement or to demean anyone's personhood. We feel that fine balance between "too far" and just plain fun has been scrupulously attended to. This goal is in live with our original purpose in founding Doozycards; to make animated greetings which uplift the viewer and bring happiness. While Politics doesn't always do that, it sure makes a good foundation for us to use in generating laughs for people in need of levity.
