This is an animated ecard which begins with a vintage poster announcing the “groundhog day tap dance starring tap sensation Punxsutawney Phil” with painted photos of his dancing and a closeup to his face and the poster is surround by striped bright red and light red curtains. The curtains rise and we see a stage with a set of 2 painted green bushes and one painted rock with grass at the bottom. The backdrop is of a tree without leaves and light green grass at the bottom. From behind the rock, groundhog comes out wearing a back morning coat, pants and black top hat, a white flower at his breast pocket and he is holding a black dance cane. He begins to tap dance and a large cut-out sun comes out on the backdrop and the lights brighten up the stage. The sun moves to the middle of the stage creating groundhog’s shadow on the backdrop in front of the tree. As the cut-out sun moves back to the left side of the screen, the groundhog’s shadow remains on the backdrop much to the groundhog’s surprise! The shadow tap dances even though our groundhog does not dance and suddenly, snow mounds decor slide in from the left and right side of the stage. Our groundhog start to tap dance and the sun comes back making the snow decor pull back off stage. All the while, his shadow is not tap dancing. Fake flowers pop up from the green bush decor but… his shadow begins to tap dance again and not only does the snow come back on stage but on the right there is a very tall snowman with a carry nose and pieces of coal for his eyes and mouth, and branches for his arms slides in on stage much to groundhog’s dismay once again. Groundhog begins tap dancing again and the snow decor recedes, the flowers come back up again and! 3 blue bird cutouts hanging from strings appear on the tree background moving as if flying. A little fake lamb on small wooden wheels rolls on stage in front of the left side green bush, making it all look very springy but! the groundhog shadow starts tap dancing again and a huge fans appears on stage and begins to blow snow onstage and it is so strong that it blows all the Spring decor off stage as well as groundhog. Groundhog comes back onstage tap dancing away and joins his shadow, both tap dancing together as the fan is still blowing snow on stage and the words happy groundhog’s day appears in large orange and yellow letters.
