The Veteran’s Day ecard is a sequence of painting and photos beginning with a painting of a battle in the 1700’s with soldiers in full battle. Next is another painting from the late 1700’s with soldiers shooting and advancing in battle. The next painting is of soldiers in full battle and women running from the house trying to help the fallen. Next is a painting of late 1700’s with soldiers in their army clothes and tricorns holding their muskets, one sitting on his horse and the screen is split with a reenactment from today with men wearing the same clothes and holding their muskets. Next the painting of Washington crossing the Delaware River in 1776 on a watercraft. Next are two vintage posters; one asking for recruits titled “Corcoran Zouaves 4th Regiment Empire Brigade!” and the other titled “Manhattan Rifles! The Colonel of the Regiment is a United States Officer”. Another recruiting poster appears above the first one called “Siegel Sharp Shooters! Spinola’s Brigade!” followed by “Commonwealth of Massachusetts general Order no 13” and last recruiting poster titled “Last Change! To Arms! Now is the time to Enlist!”. And to a Chronicles cover page titled “Civil War Chronicles. Lee Vs. Grants.” with photos of each leader. To the next original photo of an Musicians brigade from the 1860’s posing for a photographer as they are holding their instruments. The next original photo from the same era show soldiers in their battle gear in front of a tent ready for the next event. To another photo of soldiers from the 1870’s speaking to their Colonel planning the next step. To a photo of army planes from the 1930’s in formation then to a newspaper man holding a poster saying “Wld War Declared Official” and next to it a painted poster of Army men in line formation with a Lady Liberty holding a laurel leaf crown as she she holds a flying American flag around her. To a second World War photo of American soldiers surround with gas barrels and sending gas smoke to the enemies. To the Iwo Jima Statue with a banner above reading “Honor and remembrance”. The banner stays the same as the photo changes to a destroyer on the sea and another photo of American soldiers in battle clothes, holding their guns as they walk in the water. The full banner reads “Honor And Remembrance on Veteran’s Day” as the photo changes into an animated American Flag hanging on a pole as it floats in the wind.
