The Tap Dancing Maccabees animated Hanukkah ecard is set inside a very plain house and a dog is sleeping on a carpet in front of an unlit fireplace. When the doorbell rings, the dog opens one eye and when then see the front door open and a dreidel is spinning, making the dog growl. The dreidel turns unto the 3 Maccabees and the transformation makes the dog look sideways. The 3 Maccabees come inside the house tap-dancing and a Star of David appears on a wall and then a frame with the word Shalom. The color of the walls also change from a drab beige to blue. As they tap dance, one of the Maccabees throws gold coins inside a fruit bowl on a table. The whole table changes into a full Hanukkah dinner with latkes, donuts, challa bread as two candles are lit. A little boy wearing a yarmulke and a little girl are watching the Maccabees in awe. Another Maccabee tosses two dreidels on the floor and they spin and small Stars of David appear as they spin. Both dreidels turned into loads of gifts making the little kids smile and clap their hands. Another Maccabee dances in front of the fireplace as he juggles 8 tall candles where a menorah is sitting on the mantle. He tosses the candles and they all land in the menorah and light up. The Maccabees tap dance their way out of the house through the front door and the last Maccabee tosses a handful of gold coins to the children sitting with all their gifts in front of the fireplace lit up. The dog is smiling as he sits between the children. To the final frame with the final banner reading “Happy Hanukkah” to you and yours!!” with gifts and a menorah all lit up under the banner.
