Raj is an elephant with short tusks dressed in a white long sleeved top and matching bottom from India along with a long yellow vest. He holds and plays a sitar and is sitting cross legged on a large purple cushion with tassels and the screen background is lime green. At his left side, there is a large piece of cheese. As he sings and plays, we see him enjoy his playing and get a closeup on his hand playing the sitar. As he sings “happy new year to you” and from his left side, a mouse comes down holding a red balloon with the words New Year painted on it in white letters and in the other hand, a bottle of champagne in one hand and in the other hand. As Raj goes on singing, mouse shakes the bottle of champagne then tries to pop the champagne bottle cork which seems difficult. Mouse even tries to pull the cork with its teeth and puts a mask on trying to burn it! Finally the cork pops and flies out and brings on the final screen in a lime green color with a yellow banner inside the frame with red letters saying wishing you a happy new year and yellow sparks flying around and coming down on the green screen.
