Can we ever thank mom enough? Apparently not!  I've never heard a mom friend complain her kid was too grateful.  I find going over board on Mother's Day is a good strategy and doesn't have to break the bank either.

Pick flowers for mom from your own back yard, add a big beautiful ribbon and present to mom with a smile.  If you purchase a discounted floral vase and take it to the floral department of your local grocery store you can save around 40 to 50% on an arrangement.  I go to Vons where they add greenery, baby's breath, ribbons, a card and arrange the bouquet.   I also want to give a shout out to Lily Lodge, one of the most exquisite floral shops in Los Angeles.My friend Ariana owns Lily Lodge.  The flowers are delivered in gorgeous vases or in a giant box with a bow.  Truly, they are the most divine flowers and will be cherished by any mother on Mother's Day.
